Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Doraville, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Georgia run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Doraville is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Doraville follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I have eaten in Mamak before and every time liked the taste of the food here. So this review is based on the most recent visit. I ordered a curry puff from appetizers which tastes delicious the only complaint is the appetizer came after the entrees. Also ordered lychee iced tea which was so refreshing. In entrees ordered a beef rendang which was one of the best beef rendang I ever had , loved the potatoes. Also ordered a stir fry - Indian mee goreng chicken which was perfect. The only other complaint is that they didnβt have any knife and 1 napkin, I was looking for someone for 10 mins to get some napkins and get a knife. Would recommend this place and will be back.

Kari fish fillet is the fan favorite. Lightly breaded flakey fish filet pieces with veggies in a coconut curry sauce. Full of herbs and spices and a hint of coconut. Itβs mildly spicey but my kids enjoyed it.

Food comes by fast. Good prices. Nice portions. For the food, the roti is good. The satay skewers didn't really have a strong aroma and aren't too tender. The beef stew is good. The walnut shrimp is gas. But I just like walnut shrimp. They were BUSY but they still got us seated and feed expediously. Big ups. Table could be less wobbly and slightly sticky.

The food is absolutely amazing. The best Malaysia food in Atlanta. So authentic. We come here all the time. The hainanese chicken is made fresh everyday. And itβs limited. So if you want to get them you have to order early of the day. My husbandβs favorite is the curry beef. Actually. Everything that we ordered we never felt disappointed. Love love love. You gotta give a try !

AMAZING 10/10 100% RECOMMEND! This was our first time visiting and we fell in LOVE. The space is very beautiful and well lit. It was packed when we arrived and no seating was available, so we ordered to-go. We could NOT believe this was ALL vegan! It was DELICIOUS! We were blown away by the flavor, quality, price, and portions. We thoroughly enjoyed our first meal! In fact, we loved it so much, we went back the very next day and invited a friend! That meal was also PERFECTION! If you have not visited here yet, RUN donβt walk! You will not regret it. Both my boyfriend and his friend are not vegan or vegetarian and they BOTH loved the food! I think my favorite was the sesame chicken AND the chicken drumsticks. They put a yuca core in the middle of the soy chicken to act as the bone in a drumstick! HOW INGENIOUS AND NON-WASTEFUL! We will definitely make a stop here whenever we visit GA again! Please open one in Nashville! I will be a loyal customer π
